Oman, 35 Years of Pride
I'm proud to announce Oman's milestone on this day, where we the Omani people celebrate 35 years of Renaissance.
We've come along way and have achieved quite the past 35 years. I congratulate the government on it's unconditional efforts to provide prosperity and harmony to the people of Oman. Thanks to HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said, for the vision he had laid out for our country, thus providing a peaceful, secure and stable nation.
Oman's come a long way by breaking through the barriers that once left the country limited in many aspects. From poverty and despair to modernization and hope. From times where resources such as health, education and sense of security was not of close reach to a country flourished with the best health facilities available at every part of the sultanate to advance education compulsory to all, accommodated to difference backgrounds and available everywhere, to the development of a multi-faceted armed forced known for its high level combat ability and a police force of high caliber.
Oil has also played an important role in the development of the country and the main boost in the economic growth of this country. However, within the past year other industries have emerged to help in the future and hopefully prosperous growth of the country. Industries such as, Liquefied Natural Gas, Chemical Industries, Methanol and Derivatives, Power Company, Port Shipping Services, Energy, Cement, Agriculture, Fisheries, Tourism and many more emerging. It's definitely a great achievement what we all are proud of.
I could go on about what we have achieved in the past 35 years, but I think I’ve pretty much summed it up. I am grateful for what HM leadership has done for us and the opportunities that he has opened for his people be it men or women to help build this nation to where it is now and we only pray that May Allah provide us with prosperity, security, good health and happiness and may we work hard to achieve the goals of this country by keeping it a safe place for us to live and all the best for our beloved Oman.
